A Visit to Woodhill, near Molfre, SY10 7QX - Wednesday 4th May

¾ of a mile of winding paths suitable for a wheelchair. A young arboretum and bluebell wood with natural spring bulbs and spring flowering shrubs.
Meet in square at 6.30pm. £3 to be confirmed.
Meal at Wynnstay afterwards if wished.

Glansevern Hall - 15th May, 7pm

Hall with Welshpool Inner Wheel. A welcome by Neville Thomas followed by a walk around the garden and a meal at 8 o’clock £14. For those not wanting a meal, the fee for the garden only has been waived and so a donation to Rekindle (Di’s chosen charity for this year) would be appreciated. Menus at the next meeting.

Ann Corby’s garden in Bwlch y Cibau - 30th May 7pm
A delightfully natural garden with a hay meadow for a lawn. Meet in square at 6.30pm. £3 plus a mug to include tea and cakes.
Fraithwen near Newtown, SY16 3EW - 20th June
The acre and a half garden of Sydney Thomas. You may remember her talk on seed sowing. Plants for sale. Leave Llanrhaeadr 6.30pm. £3 inc refreshments.
Lodge Lane Nursery and Garden, followed by visit to Arley Hall gardens - 4th July
Coach Trip to Lodge Lane Nursery and Garden, (Home of Sue Beesley, BBC gardener of the Year 2006) followed by visit to Arley Hall gardens.
The garden club is paying for the coach for paid-up members so the only fees payable will be to the gardens which should be £11.20p in total. Entry to Lodge Lane includes tea and cake and guided tour.
It is also possible to eat your own picnic here as the tea room only serves cakes. Check the website of Lodge Lane Nursery where she has posted pics of the garden.
Leave Llanrhaeadr 9am and leave Arley Hall at 4.30pm to return @ 6pm Llanrhaeadr.
A board will go round at the next meetings but let me know otherwise. First come, first served.

3.30pm, £3 - hoping to include a visit to Sweeney Fenn to look at the Marsh Helleborines that day too.
